Since its inception, DonorIQ has been focused on building a strategic, quality advancement research practice.

DonorIQ is a highly respected, full-service, advancement research firm. We help fundraising programs with comprehensive solutions to prospect identification, wealth screening and rating, database implementation, and analytics challenges. We develop tools and strategies to identify, research, and manage principal gift prospects. Services we offer include prospect research, consulting, customized research projects, and training. Founded in 2005, our clients include private and secondary schools, foundations, hospitals, and community organizations.

Bruce Berg, Principal, began his advancement career as a member of the Harvard University Development Office. While there, he served as Deputy Director of Research for Harvard University’s Development office, working closely with Harvard’s vice president of alumni affairs and development, and senior development staff across 10 faculties during the University’s $2.1 billion campaign.

Since 2007, he has been the Senior Director of Development Research and Prospect Management at Northeastern University. In this role, he has welcomed the challenge to build a well-run and effective advancement research program; one that supports the researcher-as-consultant model, and gives research staff ownership and responsibility of their work. To this end, he developed new tools, techniques and resources to empower, educate, and enable the research team and others to better serve their constituency.

DonorIQ is uniquely positioned to help others achieve fundraising success. DonorIQ was designed to share these insights and skills with organizations who need support, but may not have an in-house solution. Much of what we’ve been able to accomplish has focused on educating fundraising staff and giving them the tools needed to help themselves.
